FIVI – the Italian Federation of Independent Winegrowers – is an association that brings together thousands of Italian wine producers united by a clear vision: personally overseeing every stage of wine production, from vineyard to bottle. Founded in 2008, FIVI was created to protect and represent independent winegrowers, enhance Italy’s winegrowing territories, and promote a production model based on quality, sustainability, and authenticity.
According to the Federation’s code, an independent winegrower is someone who directly cultivates their own vineyards, vinifies exclusively grapes they own, and bottles the wine in their own cellar, taking full responsibility for the final product. Each bottle thus becomes a direct expression of the territory, the vintage, and the agronomic and winemaking choices of those who live and work in the vineyard every day.
The core principle of FIVI is the producer’s direct responsibility throughout the entire supply chain. There are no intermediate steps or outsourced industrial processes: the winegrower personally oversees every phase, from cultivation to vinification, through bottling and marketing. This model of artisanal viticulture allows for constant quality control, greater attention to environmental sustainability, and an authentic relationship between wine, territory, and consumer. In this context, FIVI also plays a cultural and economic role, defending human-scale viticulture and preserving the biodiversity of Italy’s winegrowing landscapes.
Our winery has been a member of FIVI since its foundation in 2008, sharing its values from the very beginning. This membership has never been a merely formal choice, but rather the reflection of a precise way of understanding wine and vineyard work. We believe in responsible, transparent viticulture that is deeply rooted in the territory, where every production decision is the result of experience, knowledge, and respect for the land.
Being part of FIVI represents a concrete added value in the production of our wines. Direct control over every stage of the production process, constant attention to quality, and respect for the environment are reflected in wines that are consistent, recognizable, and capable of telling the story of their origin. Each label thus becomes the outcome of a conscious journey, shaped by deliberate choices and an authentic relationship with the territory.
In an increasingly globalized and standardized wine market, belonging to FIVI represents a guarantee of identity and coherence. Being independent winegrowers means producing sincere wines, faithful to their origins and able to express the character of both the vintage and the place they come from. It is a daily commitment that looks to the future without renouncing its roots, with the aim of offering wines that truly speak of those who produce them and the land in which they are born.
